The Panthers defeated the Packers 31-24 to ruin Aaron Rodger’s not-so-triumphant return from injured reserve after spending eight weeks on the shelf with a broken collarbone, although the Packers certainly made it exciting at the end by recovering an onside kick and driving into Panthers territory before James Bradberry first forced fumble since he was a high schooler salted the game away and sent the Panthers to 10-4 to keep pace with the New Orleans Saints in the NFC South. Greg Olsen had a very Olsenesque performance with nine catches for 116 yards and Christian McCaffrey may have had his breakout drive, if that’s even possible, with nine touches for sixty yards and touchdown on the opening drive of the game.
