Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis hosted his annual Queen City Car & Bike Show on Saturday at The Park Expo & Conference Center. The event helps to raise money for Davis’ “Defending Dreams Foundation” which helps middle school children become achievement-oriented young adults, and was attended somewhat by car aficionados, but mostly by Panther fans hoping to catch a glimpse of the defensive captain. Fans were in luck as Davis gladly signed autographs and took pictures throughout the event; teammates Kawann Short and Shaq Thompson attended and interacted with fans as well, even Charlotte Hornets star Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was having fun goofing off with the crew.
Any guesses as to who’s wearing this @Panthers helmet? pic.twitter.com/zqy3uqdRa4

Davis had this to say about the successful event and it’s role in the Charlotte community:
“Our fans really drive our game and it’s important for us to show support as much as they show support for us, it’s a great cause to be out here with the Thomas Davis ‘Defend the Dreams Foundation,’ but it’s also good when we’re able to go back in the community and you know really put a smile on the mom’s and kid’s faces that we work with.”
