With Week 1 fast approaching, the Panthers are as reasonably healthy as they could hope for after both Daryl Williams and Amini Silatolu went down with knee injuries in the first two weeks of training camp – add to that a hamstring injury that just had them part ways with swing tackle Jeremiah Sirles and the Panthers appeared to have real injury trouble up front. Fast forward to this Thursday, however, and the Panthers appear to have more options up front as both Silatolu and Williams practiced in a limited capacity over the past two days as they head towards their Week 1 matchup with Dallas.
“I’m confident, we won’t know until Sunday,” Rivera said today when asked if either Williams or Silatolu would be ready. “Well, you won’t know until Sunday.”
