Trai Turner, RG

Of all the players on the offensive line, Turner is by far the most of a known entity. He’s started 67 games over his first five seasons, he’s been to four straight Pro Bowls – he’s good. This showed up against the Bills as well, demonstrating good power in the run game (Turner is #70):

As well as the elite movement skills in space that have made him such an impactful player:

And while he did get called for a hold on one pulling play, it really isn’t clear exactly how this play was designed to work, as he either overran the blocker and had to slow to try and stay inside him or wasn’t able to get outside the blocker to create an outside crease:

This might just be a matter of practice, but if Trai can’t get out to a block, the play is probably being overly optimistic. In pass protection, he had a couple of really nice reps:

And did his usual job of being able to be multiple places on the same play to help those around him:

There was one play where he got a bit high and ended up getting pushed back a fair bit towards the QB:

But overall, Turner had a really good game and should be expected to play at an extremely high level once again in 2019.
