The Panthers added at least seven new defensive players last weekend – and the #OneDayContract crew has brought in former Panthers defensive end and 10-year vet Al Wallace to talk about how the Panthers remade their defense. Of course, Al loves the additions of Derrick Brown and Yetur Gross-Matos, but Josh disagrees with the process of how the Panthers ended up with Brown in the first round.  They’ll talk about the way the Panthers are going about rebuilding their team, whether they should be following the Dolphins’ blueprint and why the NFL Draft needs to change the way it’s presented.

On the football side, how many starters did the Panthers get in the draft? How much will  Brown help Brian Burns’ development and why does he think the defensive line is closer to the one the Panthers’ had in 2003 than you think? Plus, why Al thinks Jeremy Chinn looks to him like a young Brian Dawkins, how close to the roster the Panthers UDFA’s are and why the Panthers MUST sign a cornerback before the summer.

Oh, and they’ll talk Madden ratings, whether Cam Newton will get a job anytime soon, why quarantine facial hair always gets a Kawann and which members of the pod are in the “Big Arms & Running Backs Shouldn’t Get Paid” Club.
