Now that the 2017 regular season has concluded, the Panthers have learned who they will be facing next season. In addition to their usual NFC South opponents, the Panthers will play the NFC East and the AFC North, they’ll be visited in Charlotte by the Cowboys and Giants; former Panthers general manager Dave Gettleman was just hired by the Giants to overhaul their roster after a disappointing 3-13 season. The AFC North will be sending Cincinnati, presumably with a brand new coach, in addition to the team the Bengals kept out of the playoffs with a Week 17 win, the Baltimore Ravens. They’ll also be taking a trip to the west coast to renew their rivalry with the Seattle Seahawks, who finished 9-7 but did not qualify for the postseason.

The Panthers will be visiting the top seed in the NFC as they will travel to Philadelphia to face the Eagles, they’ll also be making a return trip to Detroit for the second straight year, the Roaring Riot will be glad to spend some time in Greektown again. The Panthers will also be visiting one of the best teams in the AFC in the Pittsburgh Steelers and they’ll round out their away game trips with a visit to Cleveland to battle the Browns as they come off only the second perfect season in NFL history. Well, perfect in terms of having a zero in their record; it was just on the wrong side of the dash as the Browns fell to 0-16 today when they lost to a Landry Jones-led Steelers team that was resting it’s starters.

If you want to get ahead of trip planning for the 2018 season, the Roaring Riot plans away game trips for every game. In my personal opinion, Cleveland will be the most fun; likely lower-level tickets, a likely win, and blue-collar, midwestern cities are always fun, unless the schedule puts them in Cleveland in late December, in which case, Tampa, here we come!

Be sure to check back in the spring as the Roaring Riot announces plans for the upcoming season, we’ll see you in Cleveland. Or Pittsburgh. Or Tampa. Or Atlanta. Or Detroit.

Or all of them.
