Round 6

Pick #184 – Derrek Tuszka, EDGE, North Dakota State

Talk about a “Matt Rhule” kind of player, Tuszka plays with effort, urgency and knows how to be a leader. He needs to be able to turn those occasional big hits and 120% energy plays into more consistency, but from his tape, he seems like the kind of guy that would be INSANE on special teams. Legitimately fun to watch and will almost certainly be a lot of fan’s favorite player during training camp.

Also Considered: Cameron Clark, OL, Charlotte, Tyler Clark, iDL, Georgia, Cole McDonald, QB

Round 7

Pick #211 – Dane Jackson, CB, Pitt

Jackson is a 6-0, 180 pound corner that could theoretically kick inside and compete at nickel cornerback, but projects as more of a project as the Panthers double down on cornerbacks.

Pick #221 – Tanner Muse, S/LB, Clemson

A local kid from Belmont, Muse was first-team all-conference in 2019 and while he may not translate as a safety in the NFL, he can play on special teams and might be able to transition to linebacker in the future. He had 74 tackles (six for losses, two sacks) and intercepted a team-high four passes as a senior.
