With the Falcons in town, the Roaring Riot designated this weekend as their official Homecoming Weekend, inviting Panthers fans from across the country back home to Charlotte for the game against their hated division rivals. If members were going to come back for just a single game, they hoped it would be this one; the Panthers didn’t disappoint, pulling out a 20-17 victory that included Cam Newton adding to his Superman lore with another dive over the pile for the score. It wasn’t just the Panthers who were on top of their game, as the Riot brought in some help from Southern Science to provide some delicious food and as always, NoDa Brewing providing the delicious beer.
